Shipping & Delivery
In-Stock Orders: Please complete payment within three (3) days of placing your order. If payment is not received within this period and you have not contacted us in advance, Modelshop reserves the right to cancel the unpaid order. In-stock items are normally dispatched within seven (7) business days after payment has been confirmed.
Pre-Orders: No immediate payment is required when placing a pre-order. We will notify you once the product has arrived and will arrange dispatch after payment has been confirmed. Estimated arrival times may change due to manufacturer production schedules, product allocation, international transportation, customs clearance or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Actual availability is subject to manufacturer allocation and the quantities ultimately received. If insufficient stock is received, a product is discontinued, or the manufacturer cancels supply, Modelshop reserves the right to cancel any pre-order that cannot be fulfilled. If payment has already been collected for an unavailable product, the amount paid for that product will be refunded.
Combined In-Stock & Pre-Order Purchases: If the same order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, we may arrange either combined or separate delivery depending on product availability. If separate delivery results in additional shipping charges, we will notify you before dispatch.
Taiwan Delivery Only: Modelshop currently accepts orders for delivery within Taiwan only. We do not offer international or overseas shipping. Orders placed with a delivery address outside Taiwan will not be accepted and may be cancelled without prior notice. If payment has already been received for an order that cannot be fulfilled due to an overseas delivery address, the amount paid will be refunded in accordance with our normal refund procedures.
Orders are generally shipped via 7-ELEVEN Convenience Store Pickup or Chunghwa Post. Shipping charges are based on delivery within mainland Taiwan. Additional shipping charges may apply for offshore islands and will be advised prior to dispatch. Due to parcel size restrictions for convenience store pickup, oversized items will be shipped via Chunghwa Post instead.
Modelshop reserves the right to select the most appropriate shipping method and carrier according to the size and weight of the products, delivery destination and actual shipping requirements.
Returns & Refunds Policy
In accordance with the Taiwan Consumer Protection Act, customers purchasing through our online store are entitled to a seven (7) day cooling-off period from the day following receipt of the goods (including weekends and public holidays). Please note that this cooling-off period is not a trial period. Returned items must be unused, in brand-new condition, and include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, complimentary items, and the original invoice.
When returning an item, please use the original shipping carton whenever possible. If the original carton is no longer available, please use suitable outer packaging to protect the product. Do not attach shipping labels or write directly on the manufacturer's retail packaging. If the product, its original packaging, or any accessories are damaged due to improper packaging, or if any items are missing, Modelshop reserves the right to deduct an appropriate refurbishment fee or process the return in accordance with applicable laws.
If you have any concerns regarding the product you have received, please retain the product, all original packaging and the invoice, and contact us as soon as possible. We will be pleased to assist you.
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
1. Requests made after the seven (7) day cooling-off period (calculated from the day after the product is received).
2. Products that have been opened, used, assembled, damaged, have missing parts, or whose resale value has been diminished due to customer handling.
3. Products damaged, deformed, contaminated or deteriorated due to improper storage or misuse by the customer.
4. Minor dirt, dents or cosmetic damage to the outer shipping carton caused during transportation that does not affect the product itself or its contents.
5. Orders cannot be modified, cancelled or rearranged after they have been dispatched. Please ensure all order details are correct before placing your order.
6. Product images are for reference only. Colours and appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, photography and differences in monitor or device settings. Such variations are not considered product defects.
7. Collectible model products are intended for display and collection. Items that have been opened, assembled, have missing parts, protective films removed, displayed, or otherwise altered in a manner that affects their completeness or resale value are not eligible for return or exchange.
Return & Exchange Procedure:
1. If your order arrives damaged, contains incorrect items, or the product is defective, please contact Modelshop within three (3) days of receiving your order so that we can assist you promptly. Please provide your name, contact number, order number, reason for the return or exchange, and clear photographs if the item is damaged or defective.
2. Returned products must remain unused and in their original condition, complete with all original packaging, accessories, complimentary items, manuals and invoice.
3. Once we have received and verified your request, a member of our team will contact you. For returns due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. If the return is due to a defective product, shipping error or any issue attributable to Modelshop, all associated shipping costs will be covered by us.
4. If the product is confirmed to be defective, incorrectly supplied or damaged during transit, we will arrange a return, replacement, exchange or refund as appropriate, and all related shipping costs will be borne by Modelshop.
5. Certain special-order items, consumable products, or products that are legally exempt from the seven (7) day cooling-off period will be clearly identified on their respective product pages and handled in accordance with applicable laws.
